Start Time: 1:00PM on Sunday October 2. 

Venue:  Renert School at 14 Royal Vista Link NW, Calgary. The venue is in the portable building on the north side of the main building.

Schedule: 1:00 – 1:15  Registration/Check-In 

                 (Players who arrive after 1:30 will be paired for Round 2.)

                  1:30              5-round tournament begins

                 (Beginner, Novice and Intermediate Sections likely finish around 4:00; Open Section likely finishes around 5:00.)

Format: Players are placed in the following sections according to their ability

* Beginner

* Novice

* Intermediate

* Open

Time Control:  20min 5sec incremental

Prizes: There will be trophies for 1st and 2nd places in each section and Girls, and medal for 3rd place in each section. Other participants will be awarded a token.

Fees:  Annual Membership $10. Tournament Fee $15.

Discount: $3 sibling discount and $7 discount for bringing a friend who is new to the club.

Registration: Register the tournament using the “Registration” button at the top of the page, before 10:00 PM on October 1st. Late registration and on-site registration will NOT be permitted.

CFC membership: this tournament is CFC rated (Active), therefore a CFC membership and ID is recommended. Any person resident in Canada may become a Life CFC member.
