Schedule:
12:00 – 12:30 Registration/Check-In
(Teams who arrive after 12:30 will be paired for Round 2, and receive a loss for round 1)
1:00 5-round tournament begins
(Tournament should conclude between 4:00-5:00).
Teams:
Teams will consist of 3 players from the same school
- Teams may designate 1 alternate player (in case of absence of one of the team members)
- Schools may enter as many teams as they would like
- Each team competes individually, and is ranked by points earned during tournament play
- Non-CJCC members are welcome to attend this tournament without needing to pay for a membership
Format:
Players are placed in the following sections according to school level
- Elementary School - Teams made up of players from grades K-6
- Junior High School - Teams made up of players from grades 7-9
- High School - Teams made up of players from grades 10-12
Time Control: 15min 5 sec delay
Prizes: There will be a trophy for 1st and 2nd place in each section medals for 3rd place in each section. Other participants will be awarded colourful key chains.
Fees: The tournament fee for this event is $25/team if pre-registered online before 10AM on Friday, November 29th; or $40 for onsite registration.
*note: this is an extra tournament not included in the passes. Team fees are not discounted for members.
