Learn with GM Mikhalevski to "Play Like Magnus Carlsen" !
It is our hornor to invite Grandmaster Victor Mikhalevski to give us a group chess lesson. GM Mikhalevski is a bronze medalist of the 2010 Olympiad and a winner of many international tournaments including 3-time champion of Calgary International. Note this is special CJCC event. This is open to all members and non-members. All participants will have a chance to play an arena tournament on lichess.org after the lesson. The one-hour lesson will show kids the World No. 1's thinking process from a number of Carlsen's games. It is open to all levels but recommended for intermediate and up.
Time: 10 - 11am, Aug 5th.
Venue: Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to the email of the registrants.

Requires mininum of 6 registrants to make this event happen. If we don't get enough registrant, the event may be cancelled and the fee will be refund.
Depending on how this event goes, we may look into organizing future events like this with more high-level guest instructors.
