2020 Calgary Junior Regional Championship

2020 Calgary Junior Regional Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday November 7th, 2020, 1:00 pm. Format:   5-round Swiss on lichess.org 15min/10second incremental.

OPEN: (higher level)

• 1st place: Guaranteed spot at 2020 Alberta Junior Championship Section and $50 Amazon Gift Card
• 2nd place: Free entry to AB Junior Open Section, $40 Amazon Gift Card
• 3rd place: $30 Amazon Gift Card
• Top Girl (if any): Free entry to AB Junior Open Section, $30 Amazon Gift Card

U1300 (one section combines U1300 and U800):

2020 thanksgiving tournament

2020 Thanksgiving Tournament  will be held on  Oct 3rd, 1:30pm

- Fee: $10, $3 discount for sibling

- Prize:  $20/$15/$12/$10 Amazon e-gift cards for the top 3 and the top girl of each section. And $10 for the top ranked U500 in the lower section and top ranked U1000 in the upper section .

MOCK "Rated" Online Tournament - lichess.org

To be prepared for our coming CFC Rated online touraments, we are running a MOCK tourament on lichess.org on July 11th 1:30pm. This MOCK tournament will implement all required controls as for a real CFC Rated Tournamements, the only difference is the result will not be submitted to CFC and it won't affect your CFC rating yet this time. It will give both the players and the tournament coordiantors an opportunity to familize the requirements and process to do a Rated tournament. Note this is a member-only event.
